How cool it would be if you could just say the command and your AC, lights, or TV gets switched on or off? Wouldn’t it be great if you could just set the temperature of your AC or change the channel on your TV without touching a button? And how amazing it would be if you could do all this with the help of your smartwatch?
If I would have asked these questions to you just a few years back, you would have thought that I am a mad man. But not today, everything that you use today has become very smart and so are the watches.
Humans by nature are social animals but they are very lazy too. They like to talk a lot but do not like to do things on their own. As a result, more functionalities are getting added to smartwatches day by day. And one such function that is taking the market by storm is the addition of the voice assistant. There are different voice assistants available in the market today. You have Google voice Assistant which of course by Google, Siri by Apple, Alexa by Amazon, Bixby by Samsung, and so on.
I have covered the smartwatches that come with Google Assistant already in an article before. But one more popular voice assistant that people seem to love is the Amazon Alexa. And here I am going to cover the best smartwatches with Alexa that are available in the market.

Best Watches With Alexa Built-In
1) Fitbit Versa 3
When it comes to smartwatches, Fitbit is a go-to brand for everyone. And the first smartwatch with inbuilt Alexa on my list is the Fitbit Versa 3.
This watch comes with dual AI voice assistants, Google, and Alexa. But you can use only one assistant at a time and the other assistant has to be switched off. For example, if you want to use Alexa then the Google Assistant needs to be turned off and vice-versa. Another cool feature that the watch has is inbuilt GPS. Hence, if you like to do running and cycling then you can easily track your pace and distance.
This smartwatch also comes with a 50M water-resistant rating and this makes it suitable for swimming as well. Besides that, the smartwatch supports fast charging. And just 12 mins of charging can give you a whole day’s battery backup. This feature becomes very handy when you are running out of time.
The smartwatch comes with a built-in mic and speaker so you can take calls without taking your cell phone out of your pocket. It also gives you text, call, and app notifications so you can have a quick glance whether you are in a meeting or a presentation.
The watch has some great features, however, there are some shortcomings as well. You can add local music to the watch but to use it you will have to take the subscription to either Pandora or Deezer. And this costs a minimum of $10 a month.
There is no manual SpO2 measurement available in this watch. It only measures the SpO2 automatically while sleeping. So if you are not feeling good and want to have a quick look at your blood-oxygen saturation levels, you will not be able to do it with this smartwatch.
Battery life could have been better, with just 6 days of battery life you will have to charge it more frequently. Also, some people find its button hard to use.
2) Fitbit Sense
Another Alexa-enabled smartwatch on my list is from Fitbit as well. This is the more premium smartwatch from Fitbit than the Versa 3. It has all the features that come with Fitbit Versa 3. In addition to those features, this smartwatch comes with stress measurement as well. This feature uses EDA (Electrodermal Activity) scan, which tracks electrodermal activities and helps you understand your body’s response to stress.
It also comes with a 24*7 heart rate monitoring app and a compatible ECG app. This app screens for possible irregularities and gives you notifications for low and high heart rates.
Another cool feature of this smartwatch is the skin temperature measurement. It measures your body temperature every night and it keeps a track of your normal body temperature range. Whenever your body temperature gets higher or lower, it notifies you of the same.
Other than sleep tracking, the watch has a smart wake feature as well. This feature finds the best time between the set alarm time and 30 minutes before it to wake you up. This way you wake up refreshed and not tired.
This is a great watch from Fitbit, however, all the shortcomings of the Fitbit Versa 3 continue with the Fitbit Sense as well. But if you are looking for a Fitbit smartwatch that also has the Alexa built-in then you will not get anything better than this.
3) Amazfit Bip U Pro
This is the cheapest smartwatch with Alexa built-in and GPS on this list. So if you are a little tight on your budget then you can go right ahead and purchase this watch.
Other than Alexa voice Assistant, you get almost everything that you will want in a smartwatch and especially at this price point. The watch comes with 60+ sports modes, so whatever sport you play is likely to be featured in this watch. Hence you can track and measure your playing activity for optimum performance.
The watch also has a 50M water-resistant rating and therefore it is suitable for swimming.
There are around 50 watch faces to choose from. Hence you can choose the one that you like the most. You can also upload your photos to add more personal touch and some uniqueness to your smartwatch.
If you like running and cycling then tracking your pace and distance is not a problem anymore because this watch has an in-built GPS. The watch also shows you text, call, and app notifications. So you can have a quick glance at notifications and never miss an important update. And not only this you can even control music from it.
You can also monitor your stress levels with this watch. And to balance your stress levels it provides you breathing training as well.
Another great feature of this watch is the PAI Health Assessment System. And this system simply transforms the complex health-related information like activity duration, heart rate data, etc. into numerical values and presents it to the user in such a way that a common man can understand.
At just 1.09 ounces, this watch is also one of the lightest on this list.
But as nothing is perfect, so there are some shortcomings of this watch as well. Firstly, the watch does not feature an always-on display. Secondly, it does not support third-party apps and payments.
4) Amazfit GTS 2
Amazfit GTS 2 is another Alexa smartwatch with calling support and is a more premium smartwatch as compared to the Amazfit Bip U pro. And it covers almost everything that you get in the Bip U pro and offers a lot more.
Firstly, the watch has a 3-D curved bezel-less design which makes it look more elegant and premium. In this watch, you get a built-in speaker and microphone to answer calls. Therefore you can attend the calls hands-free.
The watch also offers 90+ sports modes. Hence whatever sport you play, you can definitely track it. There is an intelligent recognition of 6 sports modes so you do not have to select the sport manually every time.
There is 3GB of local music storage available. Therefore you can store all your favorite tracks in the watch and never have to take your mobile phone with you when you go running or cycling.
However, there are some shortcomings of this smartwatch too. First of all, the weight of the watch is on the higher side. Secondly, the battery life could have been better. Thirdly, some people find it hard to transfer the music to the watch.
5) Amazfit GTR 2e
The Amazfit GTR 2e is another watch from the brand Amazfit. And this is the only watch on this list that comes with a round dial. Other than inbuilt Alexa it also comes with a host of features that you could ask from a smartwatch.
It comes with a 24*7 heart rate monitor with a high heart rate alert. Therefore you do not have to worry about your heart anymore as it will keep a track of it. If you like running and cycling then you will love its inbuilt GPS and GLONASS feature. They help you keep exact track of your distance and speed.
There is an inbuilt speaker and microphone to answer the calls as well. And the text, call, and app notifications are also displayed on the screen. Besides the SpO2 monitoring, this watch has sleep monitoring and scoring as well. And it keeps track of the daytime naps of over 20 mins too. As a result, you get accurate sleep data for the entire day.
Another great feature of the watch that you will not find in any other smartwatch at this price point is the Barometric Altimeter. If you like to go trekking high up in the mountains then this feature helps you in keeping an eye on the altitude and air pressure of your activities.
The smartwatch comes with a massive battery life of 24 days. This is probably one of the best battery life offered by any smartwatch. At just 1.13 ounces this watch is also one of the lightest on this list. Also, this is one of the gorgeous looking watches on this list.
Overall it is a smartwatch that has almost everything that you could ask for. And if you are looking for an Amazfit smartwatch with Alexa built-in then this is the best option for you.
But there are some flaws to this watch too. The watch does not measure the SpO2 levels automatically and you will have to do it manually every time you want to know it. Some people found its battery life to be way shorter than stated. The watch also has limited third-party app support as it is based on the Zepp OS.
6) Fitbit Versa 2
Fitbit Versa 2 is the predecessor to the Fitbit Versa 3 but still offers almost everything and even some features that the Versa 3 misses, at a much affordable price.
This watch comes with an always-on display and hence you can see important things handsfree. It monitors your sleep quality and provides the score accordingly to help you understand better. There is also a smart awake feature that wakes you up at an optimal time between the set alarm time and 30 minutes before so that you wake up refreshed.
You can have call, text, and app notifications on the watch. And it also lets you send quick replies but only when it is paired with Android devices.
The watch comes with a 24*7 heart rate monitoring so that you do not have to worry about your heart anymore. Besides that, the watch also supports hundreds of third-party apps so you can download your favorite ones on the watch for quick access.
You also do not have to worry about the scratches and breakage of the dial as it comes with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. The peak brightness of the watch goes all the way up to 1000nits. As a result, the screen is clearly visible even under direct sunlight. There are a lot of watch faces available to choose from. Hence you can change them regularly and keep things interesting.
However, there are some shortcomings as well of this smartwatch. Firstly, it does not come with the inbuilt GPS and uses your mobile phone’s GPS when connected. Therefore you have to carry your smartphone with you if you want to use the GPS. Secondly, its battery life is not that great and it could have been better. Thirdly, at 30M its water-resistant is the least of all the watches on this list. And if you like to go swimming with your watch then this is not the option for you. Lastly, some people face connection issues with this watch.
