Best Smartwatches With Music Storage
1. Fitbit Versa 2
If you are wondering why we are recommending Fitbit Versa 2 over Versa 3 then it’s simple it supports Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, and local music playback. However, if you will go with Fitbit Versa 3 you will find that Fitbit has removed local music playback support.
To play music on Versa 3 you would need to buy a premium plan of Pandora or Deezer which would cost you almost 10$ per month. Paying money just to play music on your smartwatch every month is a little unreasonable.
However, you can also use both the apps on Versa 2 along with offline music playback support for downloaded songs without any subscription.
Both Versa 2 and Versa 3 support Spotify but they can only support music playback like pausing or skipping tracks on the playlist. Moreover, the Versa series also doesn’t support the Amazon Music app if that’s something you are looking for in your next smartwatch.
One disadvantage that Versa 2 has is that it doesn’t have in-built GPS so you would have to carry your smartphone along with you during your runs. Fitbit Versa 2 also offers Bluetooth connectivity so you can connect your Bluetooth earphones with the watch. I could have recommended you Fitbit Versa 3 as it comes with inbuilt GPS but unfortunately, it doesn’t support local music playback.
So it won’t be far-fetched to say all these reasons make Versa 2 the best Fitbit smartwatch with music support. Therefore if you happen to be looking for a smartwatch from Fitbit then Versa 2 will be perfect for you.
The lack of GPS doesn’t mean you can’t do fitness or activity tracking with the watch. Fitbit sleep tracking is one of the best when compared to other wearable sleep trackers in the market. It will tell you about the quality of sleep you are getting, how much time you spent sleeping or being awake and so much more.
Coming to your activity tracking you would be able to track your workout sessions, morning jog, or evening walks. Then with the help of the Fitbit app, you would be able to track your calories burned, steps you have taken, heart rate per min, and more.
Fitbit is well known for providing good battery backup and Versa 2 doesn’t disappoint either, a single charge would easily last for 2-3 days. It doesn’t matter which smartphone device you use Fitbit Versa will work with all Android and iOS devices. Overall, if you are looking for a smartwatch that plays music without phone then Fitbit Versa 2 could be your option.
