Peloton

Whoop band is used by many athletes around the world, and if you are one of them then I am sure you must be looking for the answer to the question: Can you pair Whoop with Peloton?

Yes, you can sync your Whoop heart rate data with your Peloton bike or treadmill during your Peloton classes. However, if you want to sync your Peloton workout data with your Whoop account then it cannot be done natively. For this, you will have to use a third-party app like Strava, which can sync with your Peloton as well as your Whoop account.

Whoop 4.0 Band

Now that you have completed your Peloton class and have done all the hard work, you must want to see your workout data, right? You can obviously see the information regarding your workout in your Peloton account. And you can also see the data your Whoop band tracked in your Whoop account. But how great it would be if you can see the data related to your workout in one place?

As discussed earlier, there is no way that you can sync both of your accounts natively, so you will have to take the help of a third-party app. An app that can take data from both of your accounts and shows you cumulative data in one place.

If you own an iPhone then you can use the Apple Health app for this task. However, if you are an Android user then this is not the option for you. So let me give you another app that works on both Android as well as iPhones. The name of this app is Strava.

Strava is the app that can take the workout data from Peloton as well as Whoop natively. So to check your workout session data, you just have to open Strava and not the Whoop and Peloton separately.

To make this happen, you will first have to connect your Whoop and Peloton accounts with Strava. Follow the below steps to do that:

  1. Open the Whoop app and go to Integrations.
  2. Select Strava and follow the on-screen prompts and allow all the permissions that it asks.
  3. Now start your Peloton device and tap on the three dots present at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  4. From the menu, tap on the Profile option. Then select the Social option on the next screen.
  5. Tap on Strava, log in to your Strava account, and give it all the permissions.

Now you have successfully linked your Peloton and Whoop account to Strava. Give it some time and Strava will start syncing your data from both accounts. Once done you do not have to open multiple apps to see your data related to your Peloton class.

Fix: Whoop Not Connecting To Peloton

Whoop Not Connecting To Peloton

If you are not able to connect your Whoop band to your Peloton bike or treadmill then this section of the article is for you. Do not worry it can be fixed, just check the following things:

1) Whoop HR Broadcast

The first thing that you need to check is whether the HR Broadcast option of your Whoop band is turned on or not. If it is turned off then your Peloton device will not be able to take the HR data from your Whoop band. According to Whoop, the HR Broadcast can get turned off if you update your Whoop software. So if you have updated your Whoop lately then you will have to turn on the HR Broadcast option again.

2) Disconnect And Reconnect

If everything seems fine then you should disconnect both of your devices and try to reconnect them. To do this, you can turn off the HR Broadcast on your Whoop and then turn off your Peloton device. After a few minutes, turn your Peloton device and HR Broadcast on your Whoop back on and try to reconnect them.

3) Update Your Devices

If the connection issue is still not resolved, then try updating your Whoop as well as Peloton device, if any update is available. Once both of your devices are up to date, you will be able to connect them.

4) Reset

If the connection issue still persists, then the last option that you can try yourself is to reset your devices. Resetting will most likely solve any connection issue that you may face.

5) Customer Support

If nothing seems to work, then you can get in touch with the customer support of Peloton. Explain your issue to them and they will help you resolve it.
