1) How To Undo A Deployant/Deployment Clasp?
A deployment or deployant clasp is the most common type of watch clasp that is found on watches with bracelets and even in some watches that has leather straps. It unfolds into three parts and is very easy to tie up and open too. This kind of watch clasp generally comes with a double lock system.
Steps to wear a deployment clasp
Step 1: Bring both the locks closer in such a way that the middle fold joint comes under the bigger lock.
Step 2: Once they are closer, push the bigger lock first to lock it.
Step 3: Push the smaller lock over the bigger lock to lock it.
Steps to Open a Deployant Clasp
Step 1: There must be some space under the smaller lock that acts as a hook, place your fingertip under the hook and pull it to unlock it.
Step 2: Now place your fingertip under the bigger lock hook and pull it to unlock it.
2) How To Undo A Push Button Deployment Clasp?
Push-button deployment clasp is a kind of deployment clasp and is generally found on the watches that come with bracelets and on some watches that come with leather straps. It is called a push-button clasp because there are two buttons on the side of the clasp to open it.
Steps To Wear A Push Button Deployant Clasp
Step 1: Pull both ends of the clasp together in such a way that the middle part of the clasp touches your wrist.
Step 2: Once they are close push them together to lock.

Step 1: Push the buttons on both sides of the clasp to unlatch the clasp.
3) How To Unclasp A Butterfly/Hidden Deployment Clasp?
Butterfly or hidden deployment clasp is a kind of deployment clasp and is generally found on the watches that come with bracelets. It is called a butterfly clasp because it opens like a butterfly opens its wings. And it is called a hidden deployment clasp because when it is closed you can not see the clasp and it looks like the bracelet is continuing all-around your wrist.
Steps To Wear A Hidden/Butterfly Deployant Clasp
Step 1: Pull both the ends of the clasp closer in such a way that the middle part of the clasp touches your wrist.
Step 2: Push them to lock once they are close.
Steps To Unlatch The Hidden/Butterfly Deployment Clasp
Step 1: Push the buttons on both sides of the clasp to unlatch the clasp. Or if there is a hook on your clasp then place your fingertip under it and pull it to unlock the clasp.
4) How To Open Jewelry Clasp Watch?
Jewelry clasp is the one that you find in most of the jewelry and bracelets therefore it is named Jewelry Clasp.
Steps To Wear A Jewelry Clasp
Step 1: Bring both ends of the bracelet together.
Step 2: Place the small bar at one end of the bracelet to the middle of the latch on another end of the bracelet.
Step 3: Fold the latch and then push it to lock it.
Steps To Unclasp A Watch With Jewelry Clasp
Step 1: Place your fingertip under the latch hook and pull it to unlock the clasp.
5) Tang/Pin Buckle
Tang or Pin buckle is the most common type of watch clasp found on the watches with leather, silicon, or nylons straps. It is the kind of buckle that you get in almost all of the waist leather belts.
Steps To Wear A Tang/Pin Buckle
Step 1: Bring both ends of the strap together.
Step 2: Take the end that has no buckle and has a little pointed end and get it through the buckle that has a pin.
Step 3: Once it is through the buckle, pull the strap according to your wrist size and insert the pin on the hole at that position.
Step 4: Once the pin is inserted, take the strap and push it through the loops.
Steps To Open A Tang/Pin Buckle
Step 1: Take the strap out of the loops.
Step 2: Pull the strap and take the pinout.
Step 3: Pull the strap out of the buckle.
6) Velcro
This kind of watch clasp is rarely found on watches these days. It is one of the easiest to wear and open.
Steps To Wear A Velcro Strap
Step 1: Bring both ends of the strap together.
Step 2: Take the end that has no buckle and has a little pointed end and take it all the way through the buckle.
Step 3: Once it is through the buckle, pull the strap according to your wrist size and push it on the velcro on the same strap.
Steps To Open A Velcro Strap
Step 1: Pull the strap to separate it from velcro.
Step 2: Take it out of the buckle.
Which Watch Clasp Is The Easiest To Open?
Every watch strap is very easy to open once you get a hang of it. However, push-button and butterfly/hidden clasps are easier to open in watches that come with bracelets. And a Pin/tang buckle clasp is easier to open in watches that come with leather, silicone, or nylon straps.
